How to care for your cashmere pieces

Cashmere brings a feeling of luxury and softness. Not so surprising that cashmere has been popular for years among us ladies! Favorite cashmere pieces should be cleaned with love and care which doesn't always have to involve a trip to the dry cleaners. With our easy-to-follow 3-step plan, you can give your cashmere pieces the best care right at home - so you can enjoy them for even longer.

1. PRETREAT

Remove pilling using a sweater stone, wool removal machine or sweater comb and turn inside out. Treat underarms, collar, cuffs and any stained area with the Wash & Stain bar. For tough stains: soak in tepid water for a maximum of 30 minutes.

2. WASH

Hand wash: fill the detergent, soak for a maximum of 30 minutes. Machine wash: use a mesh bag to protect your cashmere clothes. Select a wool, delicate or hand wash cycle at a low temperature. Add detergent for a small load. For a full load, follow instructions on the back of the bottle.

3. DRY

Never dry cashmere in the dryer but leave to dry flat. To speed up the drying process: place the cashmere piece on a clean and dry towel - in it's natural shape - and roll up to get rid of excess water.
