Yarn count refers to the degree of yarn thickness, usually expressed in the English letter S.
Based on given moisture regain, if the length of one pound of yarn is 840 yards length, that is one yarn-written in 1S. If the length of one pound of yarn is 21 x 840 yards lenth, and the fineness of the yarn is 21, which is written in 21s, and so on. The higher yarn count means the finer yarn.

32S yarn two strands (two strands twisted together) -32S/2.
